This year shopware AG is again taking part in dmexco, one of the biggest digital trade fairs in Germany, on 14 and 15 September 2016. In addition to valuable information about the latest version of the shop system, visitors will also gain deep insights into the brand-new retailer network Shopware Connect, which is currently in the final phase of development. A total of twelve co-exhibitors from every imaginable area of e-commerce will also bring their combined knowledge to the Shopware booth (D-040 in hall 6).
The company from Schöppingen in North Rhine-Westphalia already presented its retailer network Shopware Connect and the many possibilities for retailers at the Shopware Community Day on 20 May. Shopware Connect will then be presented to the wider public for the first time in mid September. “For us, dmexco is one of the trade fair highlights of the year in Germany,” says Wiljo Krechting, public relations manager at shopware AG. “We always present the latest features of our solutions to our customers and other interested parties there.”
In addition to Connect, Shopware is also showcasing its latest release 5.2. The software manufacturer has taken another big step in the direction of open source with the new version this spring. For example, the encryption of premium plugins with ionCube has been shelved and subshops are directly integrated into the cores free of charge. In addition, the Shopware developers have refractured many other components of Shopware and added the Shopware ERP powered by Pickware as an advanced feature. dmexco will be the first time that this innovative release is exhibited at a large trade fair.
The agencies hmmh, best it, Portaltech Reply, TWT, Rhiem and Neofonie, and technology partners Pickware, Profihost, cateno, SLI, compra and eFulfilment will also be there as co-exhibitors.
The first day of the trade fair will again end with a booth party starting at 6.30 pm. DJ Alex B. Groove sets the scene with the right music while guests can round off the evening with cold drinks and curried sausage – the ideal way to spend an evening networking in the e-commerce scene.
