Stainless Logitilt from Logitrans – ergonomically correct way of emptying boxes in the food industry
Hygienic, practical, corrosion resistant, flexible – these are just some of the features of the stainless Logitilt from Logitrans. The stainless Logitilt is a corrosion-resistant solution for the lifting and tilting of boxes on pallets to an ergonomically correct working position. It is suitable for the food industry and other lines of businesses having a need for equipment being able to withstand moist environments. The Logitilt has an IP value of 44.
“Our stainless Logitilt is resistant to corrosion and is especially designed for areas where the hygiene on the handle and forks is essential, as these parts are in direct contact with the load”, Gitte Kirkegaard, CEO at Logitrans A/S, says. “More and more companies are becoming aware of the importance of improved ergonomics at the workplace. With our stainless Logitilt we offer the food industry a way of caring about their employees”, Gitte Kirkegaard continues.
In the food industry, lifting, tilting, emptying and transporting of containers are frequent operations. The Logitilt carries out all these operations in an ergonomically correct way; the user is able to lift and tilt so that the bottom of the container can be reached without back strain.
The Logitilt is compact and has a low own weight and can therefore operate between machines and production lines where space is often restricted. The lifting capacity is 1000 kg, the forks can be tilted up to 90°, and the lifting height can be adjusted from 750 to 950 mm.
The fork bracket is made of acid-resistant steel (AISI 316), spindles, screws and handle are made of stainless steel (AISI 303/304) and all bearings are rubber-sealed. All other parts are chromated.
