IFWLA 2015 Convention, Liverpool, England by Roger Williams
Registration for 2015 IFWLA Convention now open!
IFWLA’s Secretary General – Roger Williams – announced this week that the theme of this year’s IFWLA Convention, to be held in Liverpool UK between 1-4 June 2015 is:
“CHANGE = OPPORTUNITY” – The changing face of global logistics
There have been few times in the history of our industry, when global political, social, and environmental forces have acted simultaneously to make a radical impact on our businesses. This is one of those times, and we must deal with those changes positively, if we are to emerge in better shape in the future.
This year IFWLA’s convention will address those issues and examine how we should respond. The convention starts with a journey into the future. A futurologist sets the scene with predictions of how Logistics companies will look in the years ahead; what services they will provide; what technologies will they use; what skills will they require; and where their market will be. The convention is to be held in the magnificent council rooms of Liverpool’s Town Hall, and whilst there will be an entertaining and cultural programme for accompanying partners, the main business will be conducted by an audience of 200 overseas and national delegates during a programme of conference, technical visits and networking.
Secretary General Williams says, “The IFWLA convention is always a memorable event. This year, with a raft of excellent and respected speakers and panellists, fascinating case studies, and opportunities to get real value from the networking aspects of the event, I am confident we will be offering Business with pleasure. Please come along. Liverpool awaits.
Registration is now open on the IFWLA website. www.ifwla.com
