Oct 26, 2015 Warehousing Ireland Events, Materials Handling, News Comments Off on PALFINGER to unveil 2 world premieres from MBB at SOLUTRANS 2015
MBB C 500 VAN & MBB R 1500 S TRAILER
MBB C 500 VAN: perfection of a classic
The PALFINGER tail lift for delivery vans has already enjoyed great success in the marketplace in the past, yet the MBB C 500 VAN now features even more new and innovative concepts. This lift has 500 kg load capacity and is offered with individual mounting kits for all common types of delivery vans. This ensures fast and simple installation. The platform of the standard MBB C 500 VAN is fitted with 900 mm wide roll stops plus a bridge plate.
A version with a vertical split platform will also be presented shortly.
Designed for optimum weight
The dead weight of the new MBB C 500 VAN has been significantly reduced. This results in a larger payload – important particularly for smaller vehicles.
MBB R 1500 S TRAILER: a new drive concept
The second world premiere to be staged by MBB PALFINGER is the newly developed, retractable MBB R 1500 S TRAILER tail lift with LATERAL GEAR DRIVE (LGD). With 1,500 kg lifting capacity at 1,000 mm load distance, it is designed specifically for semi-trailer applications.
For the first time, this MBB product uses a rack-and-pinion drive to move the lifting gear. The well-known CENTRAL CYLINDER DRIVE (CCD) is also still available, so that the user now has two different drive methods for retracting the lift beneath the tail.
A compact design combined with simple assembly mean that this platform can be used universally. The many options offered by MBB are of course also available for the MBB R 1500 S TRAILER with “LGD.”
Both tail lifts will be celebrating their world premiere at SOLUTRANS in Lyon (17 to 21 November). Pay us a visit there: Lyon Eurexpo, 5R131, Hall 5, Stand 131.
