Hiab, part of Cargotec, has received an order for 60 MOFFETT truck-mounted forklifts from a US-based customer. The value of the order is approximately USD 3 million and it has been booked into Cargotec’s 2015 third quarter order intake.
The customer working in brick manufacturing is Hiab’s long term partner since 20 years. During that time Hiab has delivered them hundreds of MOFFETTs. Brant Jones, Sales Manager, USA comments: “The ordered M8 and M5 truck-mounted forklifts are designed for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, especially for the safe use on difficult terrain. Their lifting capacity varies between 2,500 and 3,500 kilos and over the years they have reached a great success among customers due to their reliability. Both models are available with a whole range of options and attachments including 4-way mode for negotiating tight access areas with long loads.”
The delivery of the ordered truck-mounted forklifts is during January 2016.
