Recruitment and business consultancy BiS Henderson, the Novus Trust founder company, has been shortlisted for the Women in Logistics UK: SME of the Year Award 2013, sponsored by PepsiCo. This honour comes, in large part, for the work that Andy Kaye, CEO of BiS Henderson, has done through the Novus Trust in encouraging women to consider the Logistics and Supply Chain industry as a career of choice.
The Novus Trust has introduced a 4-year Logistics and Supply Chain BSc degree course that guarantees a graduate experience and a job from one of the course sponsors. This initiative is set to inspire tomorrow’s supply chain professionals and encourage the best talent to consider a career in the sector.
Women in Logistics UK was formed with the aim to help increase the number of women in the sector, improve life for those women already working in logistics (and therefore retain their talents) and to address the gender imbalance issue.
To take part in the online public vote, visit the Woman in Logistics website: at www.womeninlogistics.org.uk
Award winners will be announced at the Charity Ball & Awards night being held on Friday, 20th September 2013 at the St John’s Hotel in Solihull.
Potential students as well as logistics and educational organisations can now also keep up to date with the latest news and views from Novus on social media by following its tweets @novustrust and liking its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Novus-Trust/593255650695888
