Lightweight and cost- effective – The ALU-LITE™ Range by PALFINGER Ratcliff is the industry pioneer in light weight design, built to increase payload and decrease fuel consumption.
Since 1998 PALFINGER Ratcliff has led the way in producing the lightest lifts on the market, when reducing fuel consumption and concerns about increasing vehicle payload were not as high a priority as now.
The three models that are part of the ALU-LITE™ range, RQ518, RQR518 (500kg) and RQ1008 (1,000kg) were designed to offer maximum safety and operational efficiency for end-users.
Flexible and suitable for box bodies, drop side trucks and flatbed vehicles, the ALU-LITE™ RQ518 is fully assembled, always pre-wired and built with a modular construction to reduce installation time and support ease of maintenance.
All of our Commercial lifts undergo High Performance Testing of 60,000 cycles at maximum load to ensure that safety is never compromised and the durability of the lift remains the best on the market.
Each of the three models has special characteristics. The ALU-LITE™ RQ518 has a unique design that replaces the vehicle rear frame and doors/shutters with rear closure and tail lift in a single pre-assembled unit. It’s made of an ultra-light, corrosion resistant anodised aluminium frame and platform to reduce maintenance. This is a huge advantage to bodybuilders as the rear frame is fully integrated into the sides of the vehicle body.
With a lifting capacity of 1000kg, the ALU-LITE™ RQ1008 is another lightweight option, offering the same anti-corrosion protection and higher payloads due to the aluminium design.
Special features like the uniquely constructed platform made of anodised aluminium planking offers additional strength. The tongue and groove assembly enables individual damaged planks to be easily replaced.
Additional features such as the anti-slip surface option, mesh style platform and a variety of gates can be made to order to Customer’s operational needs.
