Jul 15, 2018 Warehousing Ireland Awards, Events, Logistics Comments Off on Narrow Aisle achieve 23 unbroken years of ISO9001 accreditation
Following a successful external audit by the British Standards Institute (BSI), Narrow Aisle Ltd – manufacturer of the Flexi range of articulated forklift truck-based intralogistics solutions – has been accredited with ISO9001: 2015 certification.
ISO9001:2015 is the latest version of the ISO9001 quality management standards and replaces ISO9001:2008. Narrow Aisle has held ISO9001 status since 1995 – an uninterrupted period of 23 years.
John Maguire, Narrow Aisle’s commercial director, commented: “We are all very proud of the work we do and ISO9001 recognition shows that all aspects of our business comply with best practice standards that are acknowledged the world over.”
He added: “The accreditation also clearly demonstrates Narrow Aisle’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet essential customer and regulatory requirements. It is invaluable to our operation – particularly when it comes to tendering for contracts with larger companies and overseas customers.
“Our consistent commitment to quality throughout our manufacturing supply chain is further underlined by the fact that we only specify components from respected ‘Tier One’ suppliers – so only top quality original parts are used in our build process.
“The combination of the top quality componentry that we use and our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation is our customers’ guarantee that Flexi is a brand that they can trust.”
