MOMOTE, the mobile workforce technology business has this week announced a partnership with Barcode Warehouse, the UK’s leading barcode solution provider.
Via its newly launched mobile technology business MyMobileWorkers.com, Momote will provide Barcode Warehouse with a solution that can be pre-installed on hand held devices used by transport and logistics professionals.
This will allow Barcode Warehouse’s end customers to benefit from the application’s ability to process payment upon delivery. It can even photograph delivered goods in situ – proving that they were delivered on time and undamaged.
The Mymobileworkers.com solution will provide Barcode Warehouse’s end users with a unique benefit in that they can manage their costs via a transactional pay-as-you-go model.
The flexible, cross-platform application can operate on a wide variety of rugged and non-rugged devices and is compatible with any back office system. This will give Barcode Warehouse’s customers the advantage of being able to get up and running with the application without enduring the inconvenience and expenditure of new systems or handsets.
Graham Whistance, Managing Director of Momote the business behind MyMobileWorkers.com, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Barcode Warehouse and we expect Mymobileworkers.com to add value to their customers. Our solution is a neat and complimentary service that sits well with all the mobile workforce devices that Barcode Warehouse provide. Not only does it allow mobile workers to process payments, it can also offer driver communications and intelligent alerts, such as sending job details to mobile workers whilst they are on the road.”
Clive Fearn, Sales and Marketing Director at the Barcode Warehouse, said: “This partnership with Momote strengthens our ability to bring together the latest mobile computing hardware, coupled with real-time applications for the growing number of businesses which rely on remote workers. We can now offer fully managed mobile-data solutions that have been designed specifically for businesses looking to improve workforce efficiency, eliminate paperwork, maximise productivity and improve customer service.”
