Online registration system for free-to-attend exhibition and seminars uses social media to maximise networking opportunities
Multimodal, the UK and Ireland’s leading logistics show, has opened online registration and is calling for nominations for its new awards, organised in conjunction with the Freight Transport Association (FTA).
Visitors can sign up to attend the exhibition and seminars, which take place at the Birmingham NEC from the 10th to the 12th of May, and register nominations for the FTA Multimodal Awards at multimodal.org.uk
“Multimodal is a unique opportunity to network with experts from the UK and Ireland’s leading supply chain companies,” said Robert Jervis, Director, Multimodal.
“This year promises to be the biggest in the show’s nine year history, and we have nineteen seminar and workshop sessions to keep visitors up-to-date with the latest logistics trends.
“We are excited to be hosting our second awards evening at the Birmingham NEC’s newest venue, the Vox Centre, and I would urge companies to take a few minutes to go online and complete the form to nominate themselves or their suppliers.”
The FTA Multimodal Awards will recognise best-in-class across all modes, as well as rewarding innovation, training excellence, environmental best practice, and an aspiring young logistician.
Hosted by renowned broadcaster and journalist John Sergeant, over 600 industry leaders are expected to attend the event on the evening of May 10th.
Companies can nominate themselves or a supplier with a simple form online at multimodal.org.uk
Multimodal has once again teamed up with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Freight Transport Association (FTA) to host three days of seminars and workshops focused on supply chain best practice.
Sessions will include hands on learning opportunities on new legislation such as the EU Customs Code and the Home Office Haulier Accreditation Scheme.
Panel discussions will cover topics including the impact of mega ships, e-freight challenges, the future of rail freight and the future of airports in the UK.
The seminar schedule is available on line and updated weekly and the sessions can also be booked on line.
Multimodal’s online registration system harnesses the power of social media to help visitors to maximize networking and new business opportunities.
Multimodal 2015 was the biggest in the show’s history with over 8500 supply chain decision makers visiting over 290 logistics experts.
