Materials handling specialist Jungheinrich has announced the launch of a range of manoeuvrable and compact electric-powered pedestrian operated stacker trucks.
The new EJC 110/112/212 models can lift loads up to 1,200 kilograms to heights of 4.70 metres and thanks to their 3-phase AC motors the trucks are particularly energy efficient.
With ease of maintenance and minimum downtime in mind, Jungheinrich has designed the truck in such a way that, in the event of a wheel change being required, there is no need to lift the truck completely – the support wheel can be simply and safely put in place by hand.
A new on board charger gives users the option to opportunity charge throughout the shift. The charger is enclosed to IP 54 standards which means that it is protected against dust and moisture which enables the new truck to be operated within a cold store environment.
With the tiller in an upright position and the crawl speed button set, the truck can be manoeuvred safely and efficiently in the narrowest aisles and within confined warehouse spaces.
