The Hamburg-based enterprise is returning to Stuttgart to showcase intelligent, innovative solutions involving intralogistics applications for materials handling equipment.
From 19th to 21st February 2013 Jungheinrich will be showcasing its intralogistics solutions competence at the LogiMAT show in Stuttgart. A special highlight consists of the new EKS APM 210a auto pallet mover — a driverless order picker for the warehouse environment. “The truck offers an outstanding alternative which can be employed for any kind of standardised transport operation,” explains Dr Martin Schwaiger, Head of APM at Jungheinrich. The new driverless transport system from Jungheinrich is designed primarily to perform recurring transport assignments — for example, moving items from incoming goods or from the production line to a specified transfer point.
At LogiMAT 2013 Jungheinrich will be demonstrating this automated solution live at a specially designed test course. The Hamburg-based intralogistics provider will also be showing its entire range of industrial trucks, including counterbalanced stackers, reach trucks, tow tractors and pedestrian stackers at the Stuttgart exhibition centre at the Jungheinrich stand in Hall 6 (Stand No. 211/311) as well as outdoors (East and West entrance).
Jungheinrich will also be exhibiting in the LogiMAT software hall (Hall 5, Stand No. 421), where it will team up with “ISA – Innovative Systemlösungen für die Automation GmbH” of which Jungheinrich is a shareholder. There it will present its software and IT hardware for warehouse applications. Visitors will be able to witness live demonstrations of integrated, holistic intralogistics solutions for manual and fully automated warehouses and see for themselves how projects can be successfully implemented in just eight weeks’ time, from the time the system specifications have been agreed upon.
Tradeshow visitors will also find a series of intelligent solutions involving the employment of industrial trucks to improve warehouse process efficiency at both company stands. This includes wireless data transmission, the truck guidance system, the logistics interface and the Jungheinrich WMS warehouse management system. Finally the Jungheinrich appearance will be rounded off by services relating to material flow analysis, leasing and after-sales service as well as used equipment and the Online Shop.
Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, shelving systems, services and advice. Jungheinrich shares are traded on all German stock exchanges.
