Battery specialist feeling positive after awards win
Industrial Battery and Charger Services (IBCS), the UK’s leading independent battery specialist, picked up the prestigious Supplier of the Year award at this year’s FLTA Awards for Excellence, also known as the Archies.
In a lavish Oscars-style ceremony hosted by TV personality Gyles Brandreth, the IBCS team were presented with the Award by Iain Fryer of Yale Europe Materials Handling in recognition of IBCS’ tireless work in meeting and exceeding customer requirements throughout the year.
While most of the awards were decided by jury, Supplier of the Year was voted for by FLTA members, and reflects the strong relationships that IBCS has established, working closely with fork truck dealers the length and breadth of the country.
IBCS is fully-focused on the materials handling sector, and its large nationwide team is always available to assist in an emergency breakdown and, thanks to its genuinely independent status, is ideally placed to specify the perfect battery and charger for each individual customer’s needs.
Sales Director Paul Hewson said: “Winning an award is always special, but knowing that was the result of a vote amongst the members themselves — many of whom we work with directly — is a really great feeling for all the team here.”
