Dec 10, 2022 Warehousing Ireland Logistics, Materials Handling, Storage, Warehousing Comments Off on HUBTEX introduces a new high-capacity reach truck for narrow aisles
NexX-Level: Manoeuvring Heavy Loads Safely
Compact, powerful and agile: The new NexX multidirectional reach truck from HUBTEX is ideal for use in cramped storage rooms and narrow aisles. In addition to long goods, users can also transport standard-sized loads of up to 3t.
The NexX reach truck covers a wide range of applications and is especially suited for use in builders merchants, the steel and wood trade, as well as door and window manufacturers or mechanical engineering companies, as examples. This is because these industries have one thing in common – the storage space is often limited, the aisles are getting narrower and the racks are getting higher. Efficient order picking therefore requires compact and manoeuvrable industrial trucks that can store at great heights. This is where the NexX reach truck shows its strengths. The series truck is available from HUBTEX with load capacities of 2 t, 2.5 t and 3 t.
Energy-efficient, versatile and quick to manoeuvre
With its compact design and multidirectional steering, the NexX is perfect for transporting heavy loads in narrow aisles – allowing users to make much better use of their existing storage space. The steering and the traction drive of the three-wheel chassis with PU tyres is fully electric and does not use any hydraulics. As a result, the NexX is much more energy-efficient compared to other trucks. The reach truck is also available with either a lead-acid battery or a lithium-ion battery. Thanks to the HX steering, the truck can quickly switch between longitudinal, transverse and circular travel. The NexX therefore consistently stays on course without the need for time-consuming turning and manoeuvring.
The steady braking and acceleration provided by the braked load wheels is particularly beneficial when transporting long goods. However, this multi-purpose vehicle was developed by HUBTEX with the operator in mind. The open and ergonomically designed cross-seat cabin gives the driver an optimal view in all directions. Plus, the three-wheel chassis quickly compensates for any unevenness in the ground. The result is a truck that is both energy-efficient and particularly comfortable for the user.
