Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH has leased its existing property in Karlsfeld (district of Dachau) near Munich to a well-known logistics service provider. The company will use the space mainly for storing files and other documents.

Garbe Industrial Real Estate acquired the Karlsfeld property in May 2021. It stands on a 48,500-square-metre plot in an industrial estate in the east of the community with 23,000 inhabitants.

The logistics service provider is leasing a total of around 13,000 square metres of space, including a warehouse, cross-dock hall, high-bay warehouse as well as offices and social rooms. In addition, there will be 22 parking spaces on the outdoor area.

“Karlsfeld is located in the middle of the Munich metropolitan region and has developed into an attractive business location, especially for technology companies and logistics providers, not least because of its proximity to the Bavarian capital,” emphasises Adrian Zellner, Member of the Executive Board at Garbe Industrial Real Estate: “We are pleased that we have been able to acquire an important customer with this seamless, long-term follow-up lease. On the one hand, this shows the quality of the location. On the other hand, it confirms that the trust our investors place in us as a long-term partner is justified.”

The property is located about 2.5 kilometres from the A 99 motorway. The Munich motorway ring road provides access to trunk roads in all directions. It is about 14 kilometres to the centre of the federal state capital. Following the conclusion of the lease agreement with the logistics service provider, the property is now fully let. Other tenants in Karlsfeld include an international freight forwarder and a public transport company.
