Flexi Narrow Aisle – the articulated forklift truck pioneer – has signed a global supply agreement with Continental AG and all trucks across the Flexi range will now be fitted with premium Continental cushion rubber tyres.
Continental are recognised as a global leader in the development and supply of premium tyres across all sectors of transportation and logistics.
“Their quality and long service life are legendary across the world and we are very pleased to be associated with such a well-respected company” says John Maguire, Sales and Marketing Director at Flexi Narrow Aisle.
The Continental MH20 is considered the optimal tyre for stationary stability when dealing with heavy-duty operations. Its construction ensures excellent stability and load-bearing capability even in harsh applications and the MH20 provides the best overall whole life cost thanks to its low rolling resistance, long service life and lower risk of tread edge damage.
John Maguire added: “We are delighted that Continental will support our business with its premium tyre expertise. Like everyone in the materials handling industry, improved service life is paramount for us. Our choice of Continental and the MH20 tyre has already prompted a lot of positive feedback from our global customers and distributors.”
Flexi Narrow Aisle has designed and produced warehouse trucks that are cost effective, space saving solutions for warehousing, logistics and the manufacturing sector since 1976. The Flexi articulated VNA warehouse truck concept was developed in 1990 and since then has become popular across the world, due to its unique ‘road to rack’ and cost effective space saving capacity.
