Cargotec will be exhibiting at Elmia Lastbil 2012 in Jönköping, Sweden, on 22-25 August. The fair is widely regarded as a focal point in the Swedish haulage and transport sector and this year Cargotec will introduce two new Hiab products.
“We believe that our product range will attract considerable interest from our visitors this year. We are focusing on environmentally friendly and cost-effective Cargotec solutions. These will include the world premiere of the Hiab Multilift XR18SL-ProFuture(TM) hooklift and our new cabin and control system for forestry cranes. Along with our high-efficiency HiPro loader cranes these new products will give visitors a new level of appreciation of future demands,” says Hans Winscher, Business Manager at Cargotec in Sweden.
The new Hiab Multilift XR18SL-ProFuture(TM) hooklift has a feature set that delivers significant improvements in useful load capacity, speed, fuel efficiency and emissions. Efficiency and total ownership cost are key considerations for most hauliers when they choose hooklifts. Thanks to the combination of special features offered by the new Hiab Multilift XR18SL-ProFuture(TM) the loading cycle can be up 30 percent faster.
Pro Future(TM) is Cargotec’s own label for products and solutions with lower environmental impact. These products and solutions have passed specific industry-leading criteria for energy efficiency, source of power, emissions, noise and recycling. By investing in equipment with the Pro Future(TM) label, customers can improve the sustainability of their operations while also reducing operating costs significantly.
Cargotec will also present a new cabin for Hiab Loglift and Hiab Jonsered cranes, with improved visibility to improve efficiency and safety during loading. Crane drivers who handle timber prioritise a clear view and good comfort. Maintenance staff appreciate easily accessible hydraulic valves and hoses, which in turn reduce downtime for the end user.
