BITO has released the first issue of its 2012 Fast Track catalogue (FT2), which contains all the storage and welfare products a business might require. This innovative sales channel, launched by BITO in June 2011 has in its first six months received a 30 per cent increase in orders over its existing catalogue channel. Due to its NEW UK stocking facilities, It has also reduced (on average) delivery times from 9 to 3 working days – with many orders fulfilled on a next day basis.
To support Fast Track’s high service levels and increased orders, BITO have opened a second warehouse last March, and employed 2 new sales desk staff to help customers.
The first 2012 edition of the Fast Track catalogue (FT2), out now, introduces interactivity through the use of QR Codes. Scanning the codes will take users via a hyperlink through to an informative video demonstration of carton and pallet live order picking.
This feature will be extended in the next edition, due out in May 2012 (FT3), to demonstrate the features and benefits of more BITO products, as well as information on installation manuals, alternative products and more products within the range.
BITO is also launching its brand new Webshop in April, offering an extended range of products, demonstration videos, installation manuals and much more. All packaged in a UK friendly, consumer focused website.
BITO will continue to keep the catalogue to a slim, focused and easy to flick through 116 pages containing everything required in a warehouse.
“It is not the biggest catalogue but we want it to be the most respected for its specialised focus on the needs of the warehouse,” said BITO MD, Edward Hutchison. “In addition to BITO products we are introducing complementary product ranges such as warehouse safety, labelling and hand pallet trucks. Customers using our Fast Track service benefit not only from a fast delivery but also the ability to speak to experts and receive good advice.”
The launch of Fast Track, combined with continuing success in winning contracts for small, medium and large projects, made 2011 a good year for BITO. In the UK, the company achieved 10m Euros in sales, contributing to overall global BITO group sales of 160 m Euros.
