Those who prefer to have every last comfort choose crane models from the SH range. Uncompromising quality down to the last detail, an unbeatable power to weight ratio and the intelligent “SH” control concept make the PK 14502-SH and PK 18502-SH second to none in their classes. Both crane models are equipped as standard with the SH package (S-HPLS, PAL 150, Danfoss control valve and radio remote control with LCD display).
Technical Data. Equipped with 6 hydraulic extensions, both cranes have a hydraulic outreach of 17 meters. The PK 14502 SH has a lifting moment of 13.8 meter tonnes and the PK 18502-SH over 17.6 meter tonnes.
Power Link Plus. The user has constant lifting power at his disposal over the entire working range with the Power Link knuckle-boom system. The reverse linkage knuckle boom which can be angled upwards by 15 degrees means maximum motion geometry and extension of the crane’s range. Enables crane work even in the tightest spaces.
Maintenance-free extension boom system. The use of sliding elements made from special synthetic material combined with time-tested KTL cathodic dip painting means that the operator no longer needs to service the boom system. This saves time and money and protects the environment.
Soft Stop. The Soft Stop function is an electronic limit position damper. It brings about gentle braking of all the crane’s movements before the mechanical end stop is reached. This means that jerky movements and load collisions due to swinging loads can be prevented. For protection of the crane operator and load. For preservation and value retention of the crane and vehicle.
Functional design. The new design vocabulary keeps abreast of the times – in shape and choice of materials. Covers of synthetic material over control valve, pivot gear and hydraulic hoses are particularly eye-catching. Improved appearance with less wear – for the crane’s whole lifetime.
Concentrated crane technology. In addition to their appealing design, the PK 14502-SH and PK 18502-SH represent PALFINGER’s most innovative technology with a huge number of comfort and safety functions (S-HPLS, HPSC, etc.) which make everyday work easier.
HPSC – High Performance Stability Control. The sensors of the system developed by PALFINGER to monitor the vehicle’s stability enable variable positioning of the stabilizers. The crane exploits the maximum lifting power in every position.
Radio remote control with LCD display. All functions are easy to control via the new radio remote control with LCD display. The large graphic display screen provides the operator with information about operating conditions such as capacity usage, active systems, servicing intervals or movements currently accessible. Even the position of the stabilizers is visualized accurately.
Tiltable stabilizers. The crane can be fitted on request with the newly developed tiltable stabilizers that can be pivoted upwards through 180 degrees. It features a high level of operating comfort. Its construction makes it particularly easy to service and maintain.
