The International Logistics and Material Handling trade show in Spain (SIL) has honoured Dematic with the SIL Logistics Award.
Dematic Europe GmbH was named “Best international logistics company” at the start of June during the official launch celebrations for the 13th International Logistics and Material Handling trade fair “Salón International de la Logística” (SIL) in Barcelona. This award represents the panel’s recognition of the commitment and level of success of the intralogistics specialist in the Spanish market. The prize was accepted at the award ceremony by Mike Gonzalez, CEO of Dematic Europe, and Manuel Munoz, Country Manager, Spain. “Dematic has had a presence in Europe since 1930 and is able to cite a number of heavyweight references in this important market, in all key sectors”, was Gonzalez’ comment on the award. “We view this award as the incentive to continue expanding our scope of many already well-known reference customers in the Mediterranean region thanks to tried and trusted quality and innovative solutions.”
With over 50,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors from almost 70 countries around the world, Spain’s International Logistics and Material Handling trade fair is the logistics sector’s top event in the entire Mediterranean region. The renowned SIL Logistics Award is one of the country’s most important logistics awards. This year is the seventh time that the prize has been awarded.
