– LogiMAT launch paves the way for multiple model roll-out plan.
The leading maker of rechargeable batteries in the world, BYD, is entering the European forklift trucks market for the first time at LogiMAT 2013, which was opened in Stuttgart Germany yesterday.
On its stand at LogiMAT BYD featured its first two forklift models in a planned multiple model programme designed for the European marketplace: 2.0 and a 2.5 tonne capacity electric counterbalance forklift trucks and 2 tonne capacity electric pallet forklift.
BYD plans to enter five European countries with its lift trucks in 2013 and early 2014 – Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg followed by Germany and France.
